Updated: May 5, 2023

Heard of Vermiwash but not sure what it is?

Let's begin with what's in it for your potted plants, your terrace garden or the garden in your front and backyard... Vermiwash is a unique 2-in-1, eco-friendly organic liquid that works as a brilliant plant tonic and a mild all-natural pesticide too!

Vermiwash boosts plant growth and development from root to fruit. Spray it to improve plant height, number of leaves and number of flowers and fruits. It has quite an impressive list of capabilities as a fertilizer that benefit plants in a big way-

  • Improves growth, flowering and fruiting of plant

  • Facilitates plant root and shoot growth

  • Prevents pests

  • Suppresses pathogenic bacteria and fungi

  • Contains a large variety of macro and micronutrients

  • Stabilizes soil properties and improves fertility

On the other hand, it is effective in growing pest and disease resistant plants! It is not only completely harmless to plants, it helps you nurture leaves, flowers and fruits that are absolutely non-toxic and safe for human consumption.

How does it look and smell?

This question may arise in the minds of those who have used Jeevamrut in your home or balcony garden. While Jeevamrut is indisputably a plant elixir, its odour, now that's a different story altogether :D So, I'm here to tell you, Vermiwash is an entirely ODOURLESS, translucent, honey brown liquid with no sediments.

What is it made of?

You have used our Vermicompost and complimented us over and over... Thank you :) Vermiwash is produced during the same process but at an excruciatingly slower pace. Let me explain... Water provides the moisture required for the worms to work their way through the cowdung they feed on. During this process they excrete the compost and secrete liquid enzymes too. The small quantity of excess moisture in the compost, together with nutrients by the loads, trickles to the bottom for us to collect as Vermiwash. We don't water down the bed too much for the simple reason that we want our Vermicompost to be nutrient rich as it should be.

How to use

Foliar spray: Dilute with water (10%) and spray on plants (i.e. 100 ml Vermiwash to 1 litre of water).

Soil application: Dilute 5 to 10 times with water depending on the size of the plant (larger the plant, lower the dilution)

Pesticide: Spray at 20% dilution along with 10% neem extracts or 10% cow urine (i.e. 200 ml Vermiwash & 100ml cow urine or 100ml neem extract to 1 litre of water).
